You have to be positive. You have to fight through some pain. End results are worth it!

My time leading up to surgery, there were times my pain on a scale of 1 to 10 pain was a 12! Arching my back would cause pain and would take several days to somewhat recover. Post-surgery, it's been seven weeks since surgery, and I'm feeling so much better. I can walk in the yard. If I misstep, I don't feel any pain in my lower back. I feel this procedure, scoping instead of going through stomach area, made recovery much more smoother, less pain. My last pain medicine was 12/24/2019. I would say back pain is a 1 now. At times I feel I'm just more sore than anything, and that will get better as I recover more. Right now, my flexibility needs to improve. Putting on socks and shoes are a chore, just need to stretch more. Finally, since surgery I do feel so much better, and I will get even better as I continue to recover. I feel when I go into surgery, I take in the attitude that I will get better no matter what. You have to be positive. You have to fight through some pain. End results are worth it!
