Now I Can Shower, Drive, Do Chores & Cook

Before surgery my right hip was way out, and every step was painful. I was very crooked. Today I am straight, free of pain.

Before surgery my right hip stuck out, right leg could hardly hold me. After surgery I was straight – (I gained the 2 inches I lost the last several years). Right after surgery I could not do much for myself i.e., could not get out of bed or in bed, could not turn in bed, could not get out of chair by myself. Every day I could do more slowly, I could turn, get in and out of bed, get in and out of chair, could walk longer distances with walker, get in shower with help, now I can shower, feed my dogs (2 larger and 2 smaller), can do household chores, make meals, walk with cane and drive. I am without pain longer and longer every day (if lying still). Before surgery I was in pain always and especially walking, could not go up stairs with right leg. Now just muscle pain relieved when I change position, even with going from sitting to walking. All my friends remark as to how tall I am.

Before surgery my right hip was way out, and every step was painful. I was very crooked. Today I am straight, free of pain. Muscles on the right side of my back are sore at times. My right side is still a little weak, but I am still getting better every day.
