Prior to the surgery, I was unable to stand on my legs just to _____ on a push around cart without my left leg giving out where I was unable to stand. The pain was so intense I was unable to think. I had to leave work due to the fact I was unable to perform my daily duties any longer. Pain and numbness were incredible. After surgery the pain in my left leg is completely gone and no residual numbness either. This is incredible. In my 5th week of recovery, I was able to shovel the driveway of ice and snow from the storm to get our car up the hill. I have been able to use post hole digger to plant 100 privacy hedges I purchased. I am able to drive without any discomfort once again. In reality, I feel like I have two legs again for the first time that I can remember. I am walking proof of Dr. McCord's abilities to diagnose and perform his surgery. This is the best thing that has happened to me by far. 03/14/2014

I can say it is a night to day difference in my ability to just do something simple as walk, which was a labor before. I feel alive again. Things I avoided or could not do before I know are possible now using good judgment. This is the best I have felt in more years than I can remember. 04/27/2015
