I Thank the Lord for This New Lease on Life

I am very grateful for Dr. McCord's excellent explanations and wonderful "bedside manner." His support team is also very cordial, accommodating, and eager to help.

Although I was extremely apprehensive about having three surgeries in one week. Looking back, I am so blessed beyond belief for Dr. McCord and his staff, and for all the others that did such a wonderful job in my care and treatment during my eight-day stay at St. Thomas Midtown. This surgery series for disc replacement and spine realignment has given me a new lease on life. My postop recovery has gone very well, walking over two miles per day my first week. Walking straight and tall again without all the prior pain is nothing short of miraculous!!

Eventually, I hope to have the same procedure done to my neck and cervical/thoracic discs that are in the same terrible shape as my lumbar discs were before. I am very grateful for Dr. McCord's excellent explanations and wonderful "bedside manner". His support team is also very cordial, accommodating, and eager to help. In summary, I thank the good Lord for helping me through this, and for his guidance to those very talented surgical hands that "healed" me. What a tremendous invention was pioneered with this unique "disc cage" procedure. I am glad to be one of the fortunate beneficiaries of all the hard work and effort that brought this to fruition.
