Before surgery: I couldn't roll over in bed, I couldn't get out of bed with ease, I couldn't walk 300 feet, I had no interest in gardening – pain, I couldn't get comfortable in bed – back and legs hurt constantly, now just legs, couldn't stand to dry hair or cook.
After surgery: Can lie in bed with ease except for leg pain, which doesn't keep me awake, can walk 800 feet with a cane, easier putting makeup on and drying hair standing, still difficulty standing for a period of time - more than 5 minutes, go to body plex – bicycle, treadmill, hip press.
