At this point, I believe continued activities and time will be what it will take to finish returning to a "normal" routine.

Naturally, those first few months after surgery were quite difficult with the soreness and pain. On top of that I had, I believe, about 8 weeks of physical therapy. The therapists said I was where they had expected me to be after they were done. Since then, I have continued to improve with each quarterly visit. Each time I came it helped me psychologically as the visits relieved any worries I had about my progress. At this point, I believe continued activities and time will be what it will take to finish returning to a "normal" routine. I do stay quite active on a daily basis and make a conscious effort to force myself within reason to perform activities that cause any discomfort. Thanks.
